Phuket International Airport (IATA: HKT; ICAO: VTSP), is the main international airport serving Phuket province in Thailand.


HKT Airport is located 32 km (20 miles) north from Phuket city centre.

It is a hub for Bangkok Airways, Nok Air, Thai AirAsia and Thai Airways.

Phuket Airport has been under renovating works and is able to handle 20 million passengers per year.

Phuket Airport handled 18,118,440 passengers in 2019, being the third busiest airport in Thailand.

During 2020, due to coronavirus crisis, the Airport only handled 13,490,492 passengers.
