Airport Bus PHUKET

Phuket Airport offers shuttle bus transportation.

The service provides transportation between Phuket Bus Terminal and Phuket Airport. It is the most economic way to get to the city center.

Buses are equipped with air conditioned. 

There is an orange bus that connects the airport to downtown Phuket. It’s easy to spot because of its bright color.

Where do I buy my ticket?

Tickets have to be purchased directly at the bus.

Airport Bus Service

  • The airport bus operates hourly from 6:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
  • It runs from the airport to Phuket Town and other popular areas.
  • The fare is 170 baht (approximately 3 euros) per trip.
  • Travel time to Phuket Town is about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Bus Routes

  1. Route P1 (Light Blue): Serves Surin Beach, Karon, and Kata Beach
    • Departures: 10:30, 11:30, 12:30, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 18:30, 20:30, 21:00
  2. Route P2 (Orange): Ends in Phuket Town
    • Departures: Every hour from 8:30 to 20:30
  3. Route P3 (Dark Blue): Goes to Patong
    • Departures: 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00

Phuket Smart Bus

  • Operates hourly from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
  • Travels along the coast to major beaches
  • Fixed fare of 100 baht
  • Final stop is Rawai Beach in the south of the island

Additional Information

  • The airport bus is an orange-colored bus.
  • It’s the cheapest option for getting to Phuket Town from the airport.
  • The bus terminal in Phuket Town is about 500 meters from the city center.
  • Look for "Public Bus" signs at the airport to find the bus stop.
